Meet the area director

Joseph Pfeifer

Director of Santa Barbara

Joseph Pfeifer is a Southern California native, worship leader, pastor, songwriter, and recording artist. For eight years, he and his wife of 17 years, Mandy, have made Santa Barbara their home, along with their two children, Remi and June.

Joseph’s journey as a Jesus follower began at age 13 when he experienced a powerful and profound encounter with the Holy Spirit during a youth group worship night. That life-changing moment set him on a lifelong path of faith and ministry.

Over the years, Joseph has served alongside missionaries, led worship at conferences and gatherings around the world, and held worship pastor roles in churches across San Diego, Arizona, and Santa Barbara.

His heart for the church and for worship is rooted in Psalm 63:2—that the house of the Lord would be a spiritual destination for the presence of God, where all who earnestly seek Him would behold His power and glory.
